Thank you for visiting with us. We welcome the opportunity to serve you. Our owner has spent 42 years working in the heating, ventilating, and air conditioning trade. Rick learned the business from the ground up through the old fashioned method of “OJT” (on the job training). We invite you to browse our web site to access valuable information.
Since starting his career in 1966 in a sheet metal shop, working hands on literally through every facet of the air conditioning trade, he developed a well rounded knowledge of the business. This experience has proven to be useful. It can be put to work for you.
Through the years, so much has changed. For example, in 1968, 6 SEER was the base line efficiency of air conditioning equipment. The most common application was straight cool with electric heat. Today, 13 SEER is the federal minimum and heat pumps are the most common application.
Everything else has changed in the last 40 years. From more efficient duct systems to digital programmable thermostats and air purification systems that might have been thought of only in terms of science fiction. R-410A is now the refrigerant of choice, replacing R-22 which has been the workhorse for ages. Where welded hermetic piston type compressors were the only choice to the more modern and efficient scroll type today.
It is clear to see that technology continues to move at a very surprising pace. Air to Air, Inc. vows to be in a continuous state of education to make sure we have the latest and most efficient means of inside air treatment available for our customers.
